Pokedex: Roggenrola

"Let's get ready to rock!"

I couldn't resist, not with that name. This Rock type is akin to the Geodude of Fifth Gen, except for the lack of a Ground sub-type. It evolves to its second form at level 25, and needs to be traded to reach its zenith. Most of these guys are Sturdy, so they'll take at least two hits to knock out, though most its Moves may be more powerful during a Sandstorm, thanks to it's hidden Sand Force ability.

These things, pun not intended, are rock-solid. They sport both a high Attack and Defense, supported by some solid Health and average Special stats. Their Speed is pretty abysmal, but with that much power it's not that surprising. They're all about decimating their foes as efficiently as possible, and have a pair of new Moves. Smack Down will ground an opposing Flying Pokemon, while Stealth Rock will damage Pokemon switching into play...great got Trainer (especially multiple foe) battles!
